We’ve spent the last month talking about all things Appalachia. Undoubtedly, there are some strange and eerie things happening in those mountains. There are many theories about the different kinds of creatures and entities living in the woods and each one of them brings their own unique and frightening tales for us to share. Last week we discussed something called Crawlers, and if you didn’t watch that one, I suggest you check it out because it was horrifying, but one of the theories as to what these creatures could be involved ancient beings living in the caves of Appalachia. That alone interests me. But what if I told you that there may be ancient legend and lore pointing to the existence of such a thing?
Over on Patreon, our supporters chose this topic in our poll, and I was so excited when they did! Because the Moon-Eyed People of the Appalachian Mountains have been talked about for centuries, and some claim that the old Cherokee legend is more than just legend, but truth. And some believe that these beings, whoever or whatever they might be, still exist.
