Meanwhile, back at home, the Peterson family faces upheaval when Alpha 8
assumes the role of Mom! Alpha 8’s attempts to blend into the family raise suspicions,
particularly with Daniel, who notices something is off. As tensions mount new alliances form,
and hidden threats emerge both at the NARB and back home. The Peterson siblings start to
piece together a disturbing truth, setting them on a path that could change everything they
thought they knew.
This fun and refreshing body-swap dramedy harkens back to the heyday of family adventure films like E.T., Hook, and The Goonies. The scripts masterfully showcase the kind of inequality faced every day by working mothers, and allows for the charming band of kids in the cast to ultimately save the day.
