How do you give $300 readings instead of $20 ones?

You have to know how to phrase the questions you ask “God” (your angels, spirit guides, the gods, the universe —however you want to address the divine). Imagine for a moment you had a telephone directly to the most intelligent minds in creation, omniscient and helpful: why would you say something as stupid as “just tell me anything,” or “win the lottery for me so I don’t have to think or take responsibility for anything.”

You should be asking how to solve crimes, cure diseases, and get better relationships (for yourself and others). You should be asking highly specific and detailed questions that lead you TO an answer, not hand you a simple finished product that leaves you guessing how to implement it. 

Let me give you an example: if you com to me and say “How can I get rich?” I can tell you “save more than you spend, then invest that money, and always buy low and sell high.” In this case I have done my job, but done you a disservice — right? 

So let me give you a better way of doing things: we manage the “small talk” we have with our clients WHILE WE SARE SHUFFLING (remember “rule #1 . . .) so that it sounds like small talk but is really framing the inquiry while we are deciding exactly which spread will give us the MOST, pertinent information so that WE CAN come up with an answer. Here’s a problem we all face: What to actually do when you get a new deck.
